Trial flight rates
$350 for an inclusive experience featuring an on ground briefing before taking to the skies!
A trial instructional flight is a taste into the world of flying, take control and fly the plane whilst guided by one of our instructors. You get the opportunity to practice the basic manoeuvres in an instructional experience, and count it towards your RPC if you wish to pursue it.
The post flight briefing is where you can ask all the questions you had in the sky, and decide if an RPC is the right path for you.

About the experience
In the Air: What Happens During Your Trial Introductory Flight
Once you're strapped in and the pre-flight checks are complete, your experienced flight instructor will taxi to the run-up bay and line you up for take-off.
At Lethbridge Airport we have multiple runways, your instructor will select the best one based on wind direction. (Fun fact: in aviation, you always take off and land into the wind, just one of the cool things you'll learn on the day!)
Then it’s take-off time. You're airborne.
As you climb to altitude, the Geelong and Surf Coast region open up beneath you like you've never seen it before. This is your moment to soak it all in, grab your phone, and snap photos that'll make everyone back on the ground jealous. The aerial views from the cockpit? Absolutely breathtaking.
Chat with your flight instructor beforehand about where you'd like to fly, they'll have some fantastic local suggestions. If you're nearby, you might even be able to fly over your own house! Every Trial Introductory Flight is personalised to you, so don't be shy.
